CBGMC is Rocking the Vote!

In an effort to mobilize and empower Black gay and bisexual men in Chicago to become more politically active in the fight against HIV/AIDS, the Chicago Black Gay Men’s Caucus (CBGMC) Policy/Advocacy Committee is preparing to launch a citywideVoter Registration Drive. In addition to all official CBGMC events, CBGMC Voter Registration tables will be set-up at select nightclubs, Pride events, and other functions that cater to Black gay and bisexual communities.

Our goal: to register 500 Black men who have sex with men and their allies prior to the November election season.  As a unified community, we will demonstrate the power of the Black gay and bisexual vote.

We realize, however, that  we cannot achieve this goal without your help. We are currently seeking volunteers to staff our Voter Registration tables at the above mentioned places/events. The time commitment will be small but the positive impact you make will be HUGE.
